They are highly ranked in both the Legal 500 and Chambers for providing excellent client service.About the RoleWe are seeking a 3 years+ PQE solicitor (or CILEX) with private client experience to join the Tax, Trusts, Wills & Probate department.Essential Experience:
  • Advising clients on lifetime issues, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, inheritance tax, family asset succession, and protection
Desirable Experience:
  • Business structure knowledge (partnerships, LLPs, companies)
  • Court of Protection experience
  • Trusts/trust administration (including related compliance issues)
  • Wider tax knowledge
  • Probate administration experience
  • STEP & CTA qualified or part-qualified
Knowledge and Skills:You must be able to:
  • Manage your own caseload
  • Handle your own financial housekeeping
  • Conduct client meetings (both face-to-face and remotely)
  • Assess legal issues, advise accordingly, and conduct legal research
  • Advise on costs and scope of work
  • Draft documents and letters of advice
  • Keep up to date with law and practice
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and team skills
