Accountant - Reading - Hybrid - 15-month contract - Circa £45.000 per annum

I am currently recruiting for an Accountant for a leading facilities management company in Reading who require an Accountant on a long-term contract

Key duties:

• Manage and lead the transactional finance team
• Review bank reconciliations.
• Approve payment runs.
• Onboard new vendors & verify bank details.
• Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile intercompany balances
• Calculate and post intercompany recharges.
• Prepare Group accruals and prepayments schedules.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and reconcile monthly.
• Prepare commentary on monthly P&L variances
• Liaise with auditors to provide samples for the year end audit.
• Support with continuous improvement to business processes.
• Ad - Hoc duties

What you will need to be successful:

• AAT Qualified (desirable)
• Deadline focussed
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good attention to detail
