Quantity Surveyor required in South East London

GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor, based in SE London, who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with in their Specialist Contracts Division delivering a range of jobs including: external works, kitchen and bathroom repairs/renewals, AA installations, planned and reactive repairs and general multi trade works.

Duties and responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor will include:

* Measuring jobs on the NHF schedule of rates

* Placing work with our supply chain and managing works in conjunction with established Client OT interface.

* Supporting the senior management team

* Direct interface with residents and stakeholders

* Arranging access

* Pre-start surveys and customer care

Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor:

* Experienced in measuring and estimating a range of works using the NHF schedule of rates.

* Proven experience in similar surveying and delivery role with relevant, professional qualifications

* Proven experience in working with senior management and assisting supervisory duties

* Excellent IT skills to enable real time reporting

* Excellent customer care skills with the ability to work under pressure

* Excellent communication skills in client facing role.
