Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Salary: £460 - £500 per week

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with SEN in their academic and emotional development.
  • Support pupils with managing their behaviour using positive and creative approaches.
  • Encourage engagement and assist with tasks in class, both individually and in small groups.
  • Provide support with personal care when necessary.
  • Work closely with the teaching and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Foster a caring and nurturing environment for all pupils.

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential.
  • A caring, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students.
  • Ability to commute to and around Luton.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents.
  • Willingness to assist with personal care where required.
  • Initiative to support learning and emotional well-being.
