Salary: £85 - £90 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is keen to provide support for a child with SEN needs. The child is selectively mute, so the ideal candidate will need to adopt a nurturing and caring approach. We also welcome applications from graduates aspiring to advance in education, even if they have limited classroom experience, or individuals with nannying experience.

About the Role:

Work in a mixed-ability class where some pupils have SEN diagnoses.
Support a non-verbal child to enhance their learning experience.
Lead interventions as needed to promote individual progress.
Create engaging learning resources to foster academic development.
Assist in setting up and tidying up at the beginning and end of lessons where possible.Requirements:

Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant is essential.
Must possess a proactive attitude and demonstrate initiative.
Knowledge of PECS or non-verbal communication strategies is beneficial.
A Bachelor's degree is ideal, but not essential.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
