Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Isle of Wight - Easily commutable via Portsmouth Hovercraft to Ryde (approx. 40 mins + 1 bus) or Southampton Red Funnel to Cowes (approx. 90 mins + 2 buses)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Flexible working available

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team, specialising in the fabrication of high-precision components for the aerospace sector. This role demands a high level of proficiency in working with aluminium, with experience in maintaining tight tolerances between 0.152 mm to 0.229 mm.
Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate sheet metal parts to precise engineering specifications.

Perform cutting, grinding, welding, and shaping of materials.

Work accurately to tight tolerances and quality standards.

Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, ideally within aerospace or similarly high-spec industries.

Skilled in working with aluminium.

Ability to work to extremely fine tolerances (0.152 mm - 0.229 mm).

Strong understanding of fabrication tools, machinery, and techniques.
