Position: General Maintenance Operative
Location: Sheffield, Commercial Building
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and general upkeep of commercial property facilities.

* Conduct inspections to identify any issues or areas requiring attention and address them promptly.

* Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work as required.

* Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed, and report any hazards or safety concerns.

* Work with contractors and other team members to ensure facility needs are met effectively and efficiently.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within a commercial building setting.

* Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repair techniques.

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

* Health and Safety certifications or knowledge of safe working practices is a plus.

* Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with building occupants.
