The role - Science Teacher -Lewisham

As a Science teacher, it is my responsibility to make sure that students have an understanding of compounds, elements, molecules, atoms, and ions, as well as chemical reactions, as well as how they work. Chemistry teachers are responsible for developing syllabi in addition to overseeing experiments and accompanying students on field trips. It is important for Science teachers to have a good understanding of the curriculum in order to develop schedules, lesson plans, and teaching methods that will ensure that students are learning the required material. Furthermore, your role will not only include teaching students about lab safety, but you will also need to make sure that all experiments are conducted in a responsible manner in order to fulfill your role. You will also set up tests, assignments, experiments, and grading students fairly. Throughout the year, you will attend a number of events, including staff and parent meetings, conferences, workshops, and other continuing education programs, as well as a number of other events. In order for Chemistry Teachers to be able to achieve their learning objectives, it is imperative that they provide a safe, healthy classroom environment.
