About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant: Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? This is your chance to make a difference in a vibrant, supportive environment. Our client school in Camden is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. As an integral part of this two-form entry Primary School, you'll work with a diverse group of students within KS1 and KS2.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant experience in supporting SEN students is preferred; qualifications in this area are an advantage but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to SEN students, including those with ASD, helping them engage with and enjoy their learning experiences.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver individualized support plans and adapt classroom activities to meet the needs of each student.
• Assist with classroom management and support the social and emotional development of students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Help with the development and implementation of specialized learning materials and resources.
