Salary Dependent on Experience + Monthly Bonus + Progression

The Company

Currently recruiting for a vastly growing Timber Merchants business in West Yorkshire. Due to expansion the business is seeking Internal Sales Executives to join their team based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Ideally you will be experienced in selling Timber and Timber related products or have worked in the Builders Merchant sector. This position is for an individual that has the ability to establish and build relationships, is a team player and is looking to join a company that can offer future career progression.

The Role

* Internal Sales Executive position selling a range of timber products such as hardwoods, softwoods, sheet materials, cladding, decking, fencing, sleepers, insulation, hardware and tools

* Selling to contractors, housebuilders, developers, timber merchants, builders merchants, joinery manufacturers, shopfitters, timber building manufacturers.

* Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email

* Processing orders and making cold calls with a focus on generating new business

* Pro-actively selling, following up leads and enquiries promptly

* Producing quotes to customers and following up to convert sale

* Providing excellent customer service to clients and building relationships

* Supporting with general requirements for the branch and wide sales team

The Candidate

* Experience in sales of timber and timber related products

* A good working knowledge of timber and related products

* Self motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision

* Confident and professional telephone manner

* Effective communication skills

* A team player with a flexible approach at all times

* Good IT skills & PC literate

Candidates preferred to be local to Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford, Leeds, Oldham, Rochdale.
