Skills:
Essentials:
- Proficiency in Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI)
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration
- Expertise in database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Previous experience in the media or technology sector
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable back-end systems using Python.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services.
- Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through testing and monitoring.
- Maintain and enhance database schemas, queries, and operations for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, ensuring the adoption of modern techniques.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
