Purpose of the Role

To provide a full Secretarial service to support the various high-level committees at MHA.

Main Responsibilities

Establishing (adopting) a calendar of business for various senior governance groups, such as (but not limited to):

  • Chief Operating Officer (COO) group
  • Risk Committee
  • Management Board
  • And more!

This role will ensure:

  • Circulation of agenda in advance of meetings.
  • Colocation and circulation of supporting material for meetings.
  • Documenting, preparation and circulation of meeting minutes.

Qualification and Skills

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Positive and assertive manner.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, using a methodical and flexible approach to tasks.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Experience in an office environment at Senior Secretarial or PA level.
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher etc.).
  • Transcribing audio skills and typing speed approx. 75 wpm.
