The successful candidate will:

* Encourage students to explore their musical creativity, develop technical skills, and build confidence in their performance abilities.

* Guide students through GCSE and A-Level Music coursework, ensuring high standards of achievement.

* Organise concerts, performances, and showcases to highlight students' talents within the school and the wider community.

* Use state-of-the-art facilities, including dedicated music studios, recording equipment, and digital composition software, to enhance learning experiences.

* Assess, monitor, and support student progress, providing tailored feedback to maximise musical development.

* Engage in extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, orchestras, and partnerships with music institutions.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

* Be a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a strong background in Music Education.

* Have experience teaching Music to A-Level, with a proven track record of student success.

* Be passionate about fostering creativity and musical expression in students.

* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

* Work collaboratively within the Music department to maintain high teaching standards.
