The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Sonar Technical Lead?

Ensure the technical integrity of Sonobuoy products from development through to in-service support.
Provide technical direction and leadership across Sonobuoy project teams, including leading design reviews.
Work closely with the Sonobuoys Chief Engineer, Project Manager, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Represent the company in customer meetings, providing expert technical input and ensuring customer requirements are met.
Oversee the development of Sonobuoy systems across Technology Readiness Levels, ensuring all technical aspects are thoroughly vetted and integrated.

What are we looking for in our next Sonar Technical Lead?

Strong understanding of Sonar Systems design, including deployment, communications, and safety considerations.
Experience in one or more of the following engineering disciplines: Systems, Electronics, Mechanical, or Software, with a good understanding of the others.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
Prior experience in defence or aerospace sectors.
