Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance our Quality Assurance processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. This position requires good CMM & PC-DMIS experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO9001).
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the turning and milling departments to check parts quickly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement solutions effectively.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Manage documentation related to quality assurance activities, including reports, audits, and compliance records.
  • PPAP & IMDS knowledge is preferred.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a CNC machining company.
  • Understanding of manufacturing process's eg. Turning, 5 axis Milling, wire EDM, spark EDM, surface/cylindrical grinding.
  • Confident using inspection equipment like shadow graphs, bore micrometre's, height gauges, screw/plug gauges etc
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
