£58k plus 10% bonus

Managing Engineers. Two words that can strike fear into the hearts of most mortals - but not you.

They're a tricky, mercurial bunch. Genius when it comes to fault finding a system or servicing a boiler but spiky when it comes to speaking to civilians or the MD. But you can bring out the best in them.

That's the job in a nutshell, managing a mobile hard FM team over about 40 Maintenance Technicians across South London. You'll be working solely on NHS sites but they can be hospitals, GPs, pharmacies, dentists and offices so the work is varied and rewarding. As Technical Services Manager you'll be making sure your crew keep the lights on and heat pumping for the most essential service in the country.

The team is going through a period of transformation at the moment so you'll be working with them to increase operational efficiencies, implement training and manage stakeholder relationships with the individual Trusts.

What can you expect?

Cards on the table, this isn't a job for the faint-hearted but if you get a real buzz from turning FM operations around you're going to have a great time here.

There's lots of support from above and you will be given scope to apply your ideas to drive improvements. From there you'll have opportunity to continue developing your career long-term with an organisation known for their training and genuine ethos of supporting their employees.

What's your background?

Given the nature of the role you will need to be used to managing mobile hard facilities or engineering teams. We'll be looking for real world examples of times you've proactively improved performance and developed your staff.

You'll also be happy to drive to sites around South and West London for most of the week.

£55k basic salary

£3k car allowance

10% performance related bonus

27 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
