Tradewind Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic Teaching Assistant position in a primary school in Croydon. This role will involve providing support to students with a range of needs, including supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis. This is a daily supply role, covering sickness absence, with an immediate start and ongoing support.

Provide general classroom support to students across different subjects
Work with students on a 1:1 basis, including supporting pupils with Autism and other SEN needs
Assist in implementing and following individual Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
Lead small group interventions to support learning progress
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4 pmRequirements:

Experience supporting children with SEN (ideally Autism) in an educational setting
Previous experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant is desirable
A positive, confident, and dedicated approach to working with children
Ability to work well in a team and manage classroom dynamics
Must be available Monday to Friday, on an ongoing basis
