Location: Reading and hybrid 

Role Overview: A dynamic and busy team in Reading is seeking a motivated Junior Marketing Administrator. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Business Development, this role involves supporting various parts of the buiness. The successful candidate will be required to work from the office two days per week, with flexibility to meet business needsKey Responsibilities:

  • Update marketing collateral and team sheets for practice groups.
  • Support the digital team in video and podcast production, including liaising with suppliers and teams.
  • Coordinate firm photography and profiles, manage the photo library, and update photos and profiles on the website.
  • Assist the Events Manager in preparing for events and conferences, eventually taking ownership of smaller in-house events.
  • Attend seminars and events.
  • Upload press releases and business services articles on the firm’s website.
  • Maintain people profiles on the main website.
  • Share business services content on social media (Twitter/LinkedIn).
  • Collate content and manage e-newsletters such as People in Focus, and assist with other newsletters like Delivering Development, Insolvency, and Litigation.
  • Provide team support on various projects and events as needed.
  • Liaise with suppliers.
Experience and Attributes Required:
  • Up to one year of marketing experience in a busy team environment.
  • Business-to-business marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of online and traditional marketing techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving skills and common sense.
  • Flexible approach to work, willing to go the extra mile.
  • Highly organized and proactive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good keyboard skills.
  • Desire and ability to learn and practice new skills.
  • Willingness to question current practices and seek better ways to perform tasks.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
