The Job:

As Project Manager, you'll oversee every phase of project delivery, from initial planning through to commissioning and handover. Leading a dedicated team, including a Project Engineer and Construction Project Manager, you'll ensure smooth execution of high-value projects, aligning with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and financial goals.

What You'll Do:

* Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, managing budgets (£10m+), schedules, and strategies to meet technical and commercial objectives.

* Oversee construction and commissioning, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while addressing challenges proactively.

* Develop and maintain robust risk management plans, ensuring compliance with CDM and all regulatory requirements.

* Build strong relationships with contractors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact.

* Provide leadership and mentorship to your team, fostering collaboration and driving project success.

What You'll Bring:

* A proven track record in delivering BESS projects over 20MW, with hands-on experience managing CAPEX budgets of £10m+.

* In-depth knowledge of grid integration, ICP/DNO interfaces, and advanced BESS applications like frequency response and grid stability.

* Strong leadership skills, with experience in line management and stakeholder engagement.

* Familiarity with FEED processes and multi-contract delivery approaches.

* The ability to communicate complex updates clearly to senior management and investment committees.
