Accounts Senior required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accounts based in Dudley, who are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their welcoming and friendly team. My client provides a range of services to a wide variety of clients, most of which are based in the Black Country and Worcestershire.

Accounts Senior Position Overview

Plan the workload for the accounts team
Ensure that the monthly workload targets are met
Ensure all deadlines are met
Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
Assist management with finalising accounts
Assist and train the more junior members of the team

Suitable candidates will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment and will be ACA/ACCA fully qualified/part-qualified.

Accounts Senior Position Requirements

4+ years' previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment
Suitable candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified
Previously experience using IRIS (preferrable)
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident dealing with clients and work well within a team

This is a fully office-based role so suitable candidates must have a reasonable commute to the Brierley Hill area.

Accounts Senior Position Remuneration

£35,000-£40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
30 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
37 hours per week
