Description

The Interim Head of Commercial Property will have the following responsibilities:

• Supervising a small team, providing support to the Head of Legal
• Providing legal advice on a wide range of legal matters including contracts, regulatory compliance and commercial property matters;
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases with the external solicitor's
• Carrying out of title review and circulating to the internal teams together with raising any necessary title enquiries with the Landlord's solicitor
• Working closely with external and internal teams to ensure processes are followed throughout the lifetime of projects
• Carrying out searches
• Land Registry Applications
• Ensuring compliance processes are followed
• Providing training to the legal team
• Identifying and mitigating legal risks
• Supporting the development of standard legal documents and templates

Profile

The successful candidate for the Interim Head of Commercial Property will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Be a Qualified Solicitor
• 5 years+ PQE
• Extensive experience of working in commercial property roles
• Experience of working with senior stakeholders within the business
• Be able to supervise more junior team members
• Have excellent communication skills

Job Offer

This is a Fixed Term Contract position for 12 months.

Parking is available on site.

Hybrid working can be available, minimum of 3 days in the office.
