We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Yard Person (with FLT) to work for our client who has 30 years of experience in the UK roofing product supply industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with the potential for a long-term position after 3 months.

The Yard Person will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations within the yard, assisting with loading and unloading, stock control, and maintaining a tidy and organized working area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) to load and unload deliveries

* Organize and maintain yard stock, ensuring efficient use of space

* Assist with general yard duties, including cleaning and maintenance

* Work as part of a team to meet daily targets

* Support warehouse operations as needed

* Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

* FLT Licence (Essential)

* Willingness to work nights and be available for travel away from home if required

* Ability to work in outdoor environments and in all weather conditions

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Hours:
Monday to Friday
07:30 - 16:00 (37.5 hours per week)

You must also be willing to work night shifts and travel for work as needed.
