Profile

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to work within a residential development based in North West London. This is a great opportunity for the right person because our client is the UK's leading residential property service provider, caring for 330,000 homes in England, Wales and Scotland, across 5,800 developments. With over four decades of experience and 3,300 employees, works with developers, investors, freeholders and over 1,600 Resident Management Companies.

Responsibilities

  • You will have experience working in a similar role within hard services facilities management responsible for ensuring health and safety and statutory compliance.
  • You will be responsible for managing approximately 5 buildings (this is subject to change) as a part of Royal Arsenal Freehold and the surrounding grounds area, public realm.
  • Managing M&E contractors and soft services such as landscaping contract, window cleaning etc.
  • Manage the reactive desk dealing with legacy issues, leaks and the associated insurance claims. You have a proven track record managing building M&E / plant facilities with a core focus on hard services.
  • You have experience managing high volume PPM's and any ensuring any remedials are actioned as required.
  • You have experience in coordinating any onsite reactive maintenance issues or emergencies, being organised, finding the best solutions with regards to quality, cost, overall performance.
  • You have good contractor management experience, managing a range of different contractors and specialist throughout the process and ensuring quality, value and deliverance.
  • You will have demonstrable experience in managing with onsite projects (CAPEX, minor works), this includes supervising contractors, reviewing RAMS, risk assessments, method statements etc.
  • You have experience managing and adhering to budgets.
  • You will be computer literate with experience working on BMS systems and general software's such as Microsoft packages etc.
  • You thrive in a busy and fast paced environment, you are organised, able to multitask and prioritise your workload.
  • You'll have managed customers, assisting with queries and responding to any complaints.
