We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a global multi-asset exchange, offering access to diverse securities across asset classes. Their mission is to support sustainable economic growth by acting as a vital ecosystem partner, with a strong emphasis on climate initiatives and establishing a leading position in sustainable finance and trading solutions.

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join a growing group of six DevOps professionals in a dynamic, project-driven environment. The team is responsible for platform-based, self-service builds and operates across both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and bare metal Kubernetes clusters, with ongoing work to expand into AWS as a secondary cloud provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on DevOps projects focused on platform builds, automation, and migrations, supporting multi-region Kubernetes clusters on GCP, bare metal, and AWS.
  • Setting up AWS as a backup cloud to GCP from scratch.
  • Work on production-grade Kubernetes, including GKE in GCP and EKS in AWS, helping to manage cluster control planes, Helm Charts, and automation processes.
  • Lead efforts in building and maintaining in-house tools and automation solutions, using languages like Python, Go, and Java.

Job Requirements:

  • Cloud Proficiency: Strong experience with GCP or AWS (both preferred, but one is essential).
  • Kubernetes Expertise: Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes (cloud or bare metal); familiarity with control plane management, Helm charts, cluster automation, and operator creation would be needed.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java (Java preferred) for tool development and automation.

Location: London (hybrid with office presence 2-3 days a week)

Package: Salary upto £75k base + bonus reaching anywhere between 20% and 50% (performance dependent)
