GPW are actively seeking Quantity surveyors on behalf of a North westfamily owned, full-service building and facilities maintenance contractor based in Liverpool.
Our client have an excellent reputation for delivering high quality projects across the commercial, residential, leisure, healthcare, retail, industrial, and education sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a succesful, rapidly growing business, and offers a generous salary of £45,000-£50,000 + package.
Responsibilities (include but are not subject to):
* Develop and implement estimating and cost control strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth.
* Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
* Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing.)
* Collaborate with diverse teams (marketing, sales, customer service etc.)
* Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
* Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
* Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring.
Requirements:
* Experience of working within the Facilities, construction or Mechanical and Electrical sector, seeing through projects from start to finish
* A relevant degree/qualification in quantity surveying is preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Ability to manage your own workload efficiently and effectively
