The Opportunity:Nigel Wright Group are leading the search for a Senior Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing SaaS business.  This is a fantastic solution-based sales opportunity with an extremely lucrative bonus scheme that would suit a proactive and dynamic B2B sales professional.Role Profile:
•    Undertake a range of proactive business development activities including phone, web meetings, email approaches, LinkedIn and other social media.
•    Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, demonstrations, quotations, follow ups and closing.
•    Self-source sales leads for new business and follow up leads generated internally to ensure new sales targets and other KPIs are achieved.
•    Fully understand the customer need, interpret their requirement and effectively relate to the company's portfolio.
•    Attend sector relevant events.
•    Develop a strong sales pipeline to deliver sustained high levels of new sales
•    Secure appointments with customers and prospects and arrange F2F sales meetings where appropriate.
•    Effective reporting and forecasting on the status of leads.
•    A track record of exceeding B2B sales targets.
•    B2B solution-based sales experience.
•    Tech / software sales would be advantageous.
•    Other B2B solution sales backgrounds will be considered if the dynamic proactive personality / culture fit is there.
•    Experience selling into manufacturers would be useful.
•    Hybrid working with 2 days in the Newcastle city centre office and 3 at home.
