HGV Technician - Ashford, Kent - OTE Up to £52,000*

Are you an experienced and qualified HGV Technician looking to join a growing company in Ashford, Kent. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.

As a HGV Technician you will have the opportunity to work day or night shifts in the Ashford, Kent area.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HGV vehicles according to company and manufacturer guidelines.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs as necessary.
Conduct MOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding vehicle issues and repair time lines.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an HGV Technician
Recognised qualifications in HGV Technician and repair (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of HGV systems and components.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work shifts as required.
