About this Role:

Experienced Client Side Project Manager required by this Hampshire based Project Management and Cost Consultancy to work with private and public sector clients, predominantly in the Hampshire area.

Reporting to the Associate Director, you will be responsible for managing schemes and advising the client from early feasibility stages, tender and review, interview and appointment of contractor, and management of the scheme through construction phase and completion.

You will represent the client interests through-out the project lifecycle, ensuring contractor suitability, advising on costings and programming, risk management, health and safety, quality, manage progress meetings, ensure key action points addressed, and maintain a clear audit trail.

About the Company/Client/Project:

This role is with a busy regional project management and cost consultancy, working closely with a number of key private clients and public sector clients. Scope of works includes university faculty and accommodation refurbishments, new builds and refurbishments for city councils, commercial offices, manufacturing facilities, retail and car showrooms, some local authority residential. The business is well established and has grown steadily over the past 5 years.

Projects range in size from the smaller £2-4m up the £20m in value. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Client Side Project Manager looking to work regionally, or potentially a main contractor PM looking to move to work on the client side.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

You will be an experienced Client Side Project Manager, able to demonstrate a successful track record of representing the client and delivering schemes. Key attributes will include excellent client, design team and contractor site team management ability, technical, contractual and commercial knowledge, excellent attention to detail, communication skills and processes, plus focus and drive.

You will ideally be degree qualified and hold PRINCE 2, MCIOB or similar.
