The Role:

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance and support the finance team with aspects of the financial function within the business.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

* Maintaining the purchase ledgers

* Supporting the Head of Finance and Finance Manager with month and year-end duties

* Responsible for the management of credit card activity within the business

* Company Expenses: Collecting all transactions and line management authorisation, Web expenses experience, desirable..

* Managing finance queries and general administration tasks

Key skills and aptitudes needed:

* A minimum of 1 years' experience in an Accounts Assistant role

* Solid organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

* A good understanding of accounting principles and procedures

* Excellent communication skills, including relationship building with individuals across the business

* Ability to work quickly, accurately and to deadlines

* Good proven knowledge of MS Office - especially Excel

* Sage Line 50 experience

Location: Pride Park, Derby Salary: Circa £25K (dependent on experience), with an excellent benefits package. Hours of Work: 37 hours over a 5-day week
