Business Development Executive Job Description
Responsible for aiding the business to achieve its ambitious growth plans, the role of the Business Development Executive is to drive outbound lead generation and build deep lasting relationships with partners.
This means achieving set targets and building a strong presence within the market. The role requires a highly motivated, proactive, and confident individual who can identify prospective customer needs to bring in new business and exceed the lending book.
Business Development Executive Role Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service and support to a panel of existing financial intermediaries to increase business and achieve KPIs.
- Work closely with the Regional BDMs to help and support them to achieve our business KPI’s.
- Manage new/existing relationships, promoting company’s products and services to maximize Roma’s profitability and grow the lending book
- Identify new opportunities to ensure set targets are achieved/exceeded
- Help define and deliver monthly telephone contact strategies to intermediaries to identify opportunities for growth and present our products and service offerings.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of our product/guide criteria alongside underwriting procedures to educate our intermediaries
- Maintain a broad awareness of competitor activities and the lending industry to recognise and optimise new opportunities.
- Adhere to agreed service level agreements to maximize productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency, ensuring a smooth customer journey
- Accurately record all activity in CRM system to provide a database and overview of updates to internal stakeholders
