Class1 Personnel, due to increased workload, have a new opening for a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a leading engineering company in the Letchworth area.  The Sheet Metal Fabricator will be working on bespoke and MOD projects.
The successful Sheet Metal Fabricator will work basic hour of 37.5 per week, 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 1.00pm Friday with overtime available.
£17.00 to £18.50 depending on experience.
 
Experience and Person Specification for the Sheet Metal Fabricator will be:

Solid background of working as a Sheet Metal Fabricator
Able to read technical drawings
Good grasp of basic numeracy
Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
Ability to work under pressure when meeting deadlines
Strong team player
Physically fit
Ability to operate different tools, and troubleshoot equipment problems 
Role Responsibilities for the Sheet Metal Fabricator

Working within a fast-paced Sheet Metal department
Must have experience of operating laser cutting machines, press brakes, turret machines
Carrying out final assembly of our product ensuring that the items are finished according to the customer's specification.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with fast changing priorities
