Salary: Salary up to £45,000 plus Bonus, Tronc and Benefits

THE ROLE

As the Group and Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for reactive sales for all groups & events by answering incoming calls or emails from clients, leading show-rounds and events for prospective clients and supporting the sales team. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • To manage the enquiry inbox aiming for a 2 hour turn around
  • To have a genuine warm and friendly manner over the phone and in person in order to convert enquiries to booked events.
  • Have a complete understanding of budget, targets, and forecasts for your department.
  • Maintain accurate client records and build strong relationships.
  • Complete weekly review of Business on the Books (BOB) and maintain up to date event and group forecasts.
  • Negotiate contracts and packages for clients ensuring we maximise revenue.
  • To liaise closely with the Director of Events and Assistant Director of Events and relevant departments ahead of show rounds to ensure they are carried out smoothly.
  • To supervise team members, training and act as the point of contact if the Director of Events/Assistant Director of Events is not present.
  • Work with clients to identify their needs and to update when appropriate on event progress.
  • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals.
  • Have a full understanding and knowledge of F&B and events offering so you can appropriately tailor events and upsell where appropriate.
  • Assist with the planning of each even where required from start to finish according to requirements to ensure we meet and exceed guest expectation in regards to any group or event booking.
  • To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as someone who embodies our values and commitment to our teams
