About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Worthing. This is an exciting opportunity to work within acute general medicine, frailty wards, and front door teams, providing critical support to patients in fast-paced clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for patients with a variety of acute medical and frailty-related conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients’ functional abilities and independence.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care and streamline discharge planning.
• Actively contribute to admission avoidance and timely discharges through efficient interventions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with professional standards.

Requirements

• HCPC registration.
• Proven experience in acute general medicine and/or frailty care.
• Strong assessment and discharge planning skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to manage a diverse caseload in a busy hospital environment.
