Contract Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, Part-time also considered

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the community neuro team based in Preston. This is community-based role, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients with complex neurological conditions.

As a key member of the rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and delivery of evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in the following areas:

• Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
• Complex Neurological Conditions
• Rehabilitation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for patients with neurological and rehabilitation needs.
• Work autonomously within the community, traveling to different locations to deliver care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.

Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in Community Rehab or Stroke/Neuro caseloads
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Car driver
