The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeping & Payroll Assistant to join a small, yet buzzing firm within Peterborough on a full time, permanent basis. This role is available due to a full client book and the ambition to continuing developing the practice. It is essential that you have experience in an accountancy practice & would be able to hit the ground running with the fast paced nature & diversity of clients.Responsibilities:

• Supporting with payroll
• Bookkeeping responsibilities including reconciliations and maintenance of accurate books on AP and AR
• Building and maintaining long-lasting and trusting relationships with clients
• Supporting with the preparation of VAT returns
• CIS returns
• Ad-hoc administration duties

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant in an accountancy practice is essential
• Sage Payroll & Sage Bookkeeping experience is desired

Benefits:

• £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
