Altum are excited to be working with a global, market leading media business in their search for a Transactional Finance Manager. This role will play a pivotal part in the business, leading the Transactional Finance Team during an exciting time of growth.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Managing the Transactional Finance team (AP/AR/Treasury)
• Guiding and advising on process improvements
• Assisting with system implementation
• Month end and general ledger management; ensuring compliance with Group accounting policy, resolving issues and discrepancies in financial records, and maintaining month-end reconciliations
• Developing robust processes for purchasing and expense management
• Drive automation, process improvements and international harmonisation
• Support on ad hoc business projects including AR process development in relation to energy trading
• Motivate and grow supporting finance team

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• Experienced people manager who enjoys leading, developing and mentoring a growing team
• Comprehensive understanding of procure to pay processes supporting both UK and international expansion
• Prior experience with process and system improvements
• Excellent communication and ability to tailor style to suit stakeholder needs
