Are you an experienced HR Specialist, looking for a new and exciting opportunity?

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent HR Specialist, working for a highly reputable client located in Stokesley, Middlesbrough. Joining our client at an exciting time, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work as part of an International HR group supporting all entities in the UK.

HR Specialist Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support in relation to the full employment cycle, starting with the onboarding process and immigration and work permit requirements.
  • With sound knowledge and proven application of employment law you will assist the Company in delivering a wide range of HR activities and employment terms for all entities in the UK.
  • As part of an international HR team, you will be involved in local and international HR related projects including immigration and work permit applications, assisting with the delivery of the new HR Strategy, Recruitment and Selection, Health and Wellbeing, Employability, Employer Branding.

HR Specialist Applicants:

  • Have a pro-active hands-on approach.
  • Be able to work independently to manage challenging operational duties and multiple projects to a precise and accurate standard.
  • Be an intuitive thinker who has a natural curiosity, someone who is not afraid to challenge, resource investigator and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders on an international level.
  • Extensive HR experience in relation to the full employment cycle, supporting a Company in delivering of HR activities and employment law, in areas such as: Recruitment and Selection, Absence Management, Discipline and Grievance, Learning and Development - Succession Planning and Talent Management, Equality and Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing, Leaving Employment.
  • Extensive experience in managing HRMIS and producing and interpreting HR Reports.
  • Understanding and delivery of HR related projects in line with best practice and employment law.
  • A HR Qualification and professional member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) would be an advantage.
  • Active in continuous learning in relation to employment law, HR best practice and own personal development.
  • Sound knowledge and experience with post Brexit visa and immigration requirements. Experience in this field is a big advantage.
  • Ability to occasionally travel (inter)nationally to the other offices.

Salary is up to £30,000 DOE. Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch.

There is some flexibility on start and finish times between 8-4 or 9-5. After the 6 months probationary period, the successful candidate would be able to have 1 day a week working from home (if authorised by line manager).
