Abatec is seeking a Site Engineer on a freelance contract to join our client, a leading contractor, for a 5-year Civil Engineering framework based around Bristol, Gloucester and Swindon.

As a Site Engineer, you will:

* Have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in setting out on civil engineering schemes.

* Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.

* Assist in the preparation of 'as-built drawings'

* Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

* Experience with Leica Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical, and digital levels).

* IRATA Level 1

* CSCS

* A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Experience in Drainage, earthworks and geotechnical surveys

* Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable.

Salary and benefits include:

* £300 - £350 CIS
