Multi Skilled Technician

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm (days & nights)
Salary: £54000 per year

In addition, the site has secured further investment in state-of-the-art warehousing and storage solutions, alongside developments in new product lines and substantial upgrades to its yogurt and fruit processing facilities. You should have a background in maintaining fast-moving, complex manufacturing or logistics environments. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical and electrical expertise in production or process settings, with proven experience working on fast-moving machinery, pumps, valves, and PLCs. Apprentice-trained, you'll possess solid knowledge of filling and process technology, preventative maintenance techniques, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Strong team-building and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Role: Our clients are looking for Multi Skilled Shift Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve plant and equipment
Perform day-to-day maintenance
Ensure compliance with safety and food standards
Complete planned maintenance tasks
Diagnose and repair faults
Champion health and safety
Provide technical support and expedite parts as needed
Requirements:

Experience in multi-skilled engineering in a fast-paced environment
Mechanical and electrical engineering skills
HNC or equivalent, with experience on machinery, conveyers, pumps, valves, and electrical fault finding.
Knowledge of FMCG environments is a plus
Strong problem-solving and maintenance skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
