We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finishing Manager to join our clients team. Your first project will be the final stages of a £15m new build school in the West Midlands, running to November 2025. Following the successful completion of this project, you will move onto new and exciting opportunities within the organisation.

About the Role
As Finishing Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality finishing works on the school project. You will oversee all finishing trades, manage snagging and defect resolution, and ensure the project is completed to a high standard within programme and budget. Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate all finishing activities, ensuring work meets quality and design standards.

* Monitor progress against the programme, identifying and addressing potential delays.

* Lead snagging and defects management, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.

* Supervise subcontractors and finishing trades, ensuring clarity and accountability across the site.

* Liaise with the client and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.

* Enforce health and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience as a Finishing Manager or similar role on projects, ideally within the education sector.

* A strong understanding of finishing trades, snagging processes, and quality control.

* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.

* SMSTS (essential).

* CSCS card (essential).

* First Aid at Work (preferred).
