Job Opportunity: Structural Engineer - Peterborough

Key Requirements:

* Extensive experience as a Structural Engineer.

* A minimum of 3 years of Chartered Engineering experience.

* Proficiency with AutoCAD.

* Experience with Revit is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

* Provide structural engineering support at all stages of the development process, from initial viability advice to delivering full design packages.

* Review and value-engineer designs, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and practical solutions.

* Assess and appraise consultants' designs for suitability, challenging building designs to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

* Work closely with the Manufacturing Technical Director and Preconstruction team to drive standardisation.

* Advise the wider group on all matters related to timber frame, delivering efficiency solutions for production and site installation.

* Collaborate on pre-construction and design phases for structural steel and timber frame projects.
