About the role:

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) specializing in EAL, you will play a crucial role in supporting our diverse learners. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with children to boost their language skills and confidence in a nurturing environment.

This position is part-time, allowing you to balance your professional commitments with your personal life while making a meaningful impact on our students' educational journeys.

• A passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Understanding of EAL needs and strategies to support language development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist EAL students in developing their English language skills through tailored support and interventions.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to design and implement engaging learning activities that cater to the needs of all students.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to help pupils catch up with the curriculum.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that helps students feel valued and confident.
• Observe and assess students' progress, reporting any concerns to the classroom teacher.
