SRG are currently recruiting for a Compliance Sampling Technician to join an excellent water company based in South Wales. This is currently a 6-month contract paying £13.60 per hour, starting ASAP

Role:

Show knowledge and competency in taking both regulatory and non‐regulatory samples
Deal with customers
Deliver the sampling and monitoring programmes
Take regulatory and non-regulatory samples
Identify and escalate issues found at sites
Work closely with Sampling Co-ordinators
Participate in out of hours standby rotas
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately
Ensure that all field test equipment is maintained
Responsible for checking vehicles, organising servicing, and ensuring they are road-worthy at all times
Person:

Strong communication skills
Driving license is essential
Science/ engineering/ related background would be desirable
