Management Accountant

£50,000 - £55,000 + benefits

Reading - Hybrid (3 days in office per week)

This business is growing rapidly and needs additional resource within finance to support their finance enhancement programmes.

The Role

This is a hands on Management Accountant role which will be reporting directly into a supportive Financial Controller and will be involved in the following:

• Deliver month end close activities for two entities including balance sheet reconcilaitions
• Support Fixed Asset accounting and control
• Deliver management accounting for specified areas and entities
• Posting of accruals and prepayments
• Posting VAT returns
• Business Partnering internal stakeholders for budget control
• Support with AP and AR processing when workloads require
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations
• Review and process payment runs
• Provide ad-hoc support to payroll

Your Profile

We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic Management Accountant to join a great team.

You'll need a good grasp of double entry and related accounting/reconciliations. There is extensive interaction with the wider business as well so being a people person is essential!

This role would suit someone with prior experience in month end accounting tasks in small to medium sized businesses where you need to roll your sleeves up and help team members across a wide variety of accounting tasks.

Experience of Vlookups and Pivot tables is key while experience using Sage or Netsuite would be advantageous.

Salary & Benefits

£50,000 - £55,000 plus benefits. The business operates a hybrid model with 3 days per week in office. The office has parking on site and good bus links.
