Infrastructure Engineer | AWS / Windows Server / T-SQL / SQL

Permanent role, hybrid working (3 days per week in the office); £40-45k + bonus & benefits

KEY SKILLS:

• Strong background in Infrastructure technology support within insurance / financial services
• Experience of AWS or similar hosting platforms
• Excellent T-SQL, Windows Server expertise

THE ROLE:My client is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their growing team. The role will act as an escalation point from the 1st & 2nd line support desk covering various technologies. You will work closely with the clients MSA vendor for cloud-hosted environments, be involved in system maintenance and security activities and audits, and be involved in the evaluation of new products and technology.

THE CANDIDATE:The successful candidate will have a strong background in 2nd and/or 3rd line support roles within the insurance or financial services sector. You will have experience in client facing infrastructure support roles (experience in a consultancy / customer support environment would be ideal) with excellent technical experience of AWS or similar hosting platforms, T-SQL, TCP, DNS, Windows Server; any experience of PostgreSQL, Linux or .Net environments would be ideal.
