Hours: 29.5 hours per week, Tuesday - Friday
Duration: Temporary, until 19 December 2024 - extended after 
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our Foundation Studies team, supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role involves working closely with students to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment, encouraging personal growth and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support to SEND/SEMH students, helping them access the curriculum and engage in classroom activities
Assist in implementing personalized learning plans tailored to each student's individual needs
Foster a safe and supportive atmosphere to aid in students' social, emotional, and academic development
Collaborate with teaching staff and other support professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student careIdeal Candidate Profile:

Experience working with SEND/SEMH students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education practices
