Due to our continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a school experienced Headteacher's PA to join a Secondary School in Coventry.

Responsibilities include:

* Provide proactive, high-level support to the Headteacher in the day-to-day leadership of the school, ensuring smooth operations at all times.

* Manage the Headteacher's diary, scheduling appointments and meetings efficiently. Ensure all necessary briefings, presentations, and relevant documents are prepared in advance and distributed to attendees in a timely manner.

* Act as the first point of contact in the Headteacher's absence, referring urgent matters to the Senior Leadership Team and ensuring appropriate follow-up.

* Serve as a key liaison for parents, students, and colleagues, handling queries and concerns with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.

* Organise and coordinate all travel arrangements for the Headteacher, ensuring plans are made in advance and communicated clearly.

* Handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact, maintaining the highest levels of discretion at all times.

* Make sound, informed decisions on urgent matters, and delegate tasks to the administrative team where appropriate to ensure timely resolution.

* Accurately maintain records, minutes, and documentation for meetings attended by the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team. Ensure secure and organised filing of all important documents, including teacher appraisals and meeting minutes.

* Oversee the induction process for new staff, ensuring comprehensive induction packs are prepared and that the induction programme is effectively supported.

* Lead and manage the Single Central Record, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant with safeguarding policies and procedures. This includes maintaining records for agency staff, contractors, volunteers, trainees, and other regular visitors.

* Manage the school's records and ensure the timely production and submission of the School Workforce Census annual report.
