Accounts Payable Specialist

Salary: £26,000

Location: Blackburn

Duration: 9 months FTC

One of Simpson Judge's most respected clients are searching for an accounts payable specialist to begin work 6th January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process non-purchase order and purchase order invoices for payment

• Post invoices and credit notes to correct businesses, ensuring correct coding in the accounting system

• Perform routine Accounts Payable tasks under the direction of the Accounts Payable Team Leader

• Maintain vendor master database

• Handle reconciliation, payments and controls

Requirements

• Previous experience with Accounts Payable
• Strong experience and skills with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Be able to confidently communicate and solve problems as they arise
