Fabricator / Welder

Birmingham, West Midlands

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Permanent position

We are currently looking for an experienced and capable Fabricator / Welder for an established and expanding Engineering Group based near Central Birmingham.

Experience required includes:

* MIG and TIG welding in a variety of gauges

* Welding experience of working to a high standard in Mild and Stainless steel

* The ability to work accruately from CAD / fabrication drawings, written and verbal instructions

* Initiative when working alone, and the abillty to work well as part of a team

* Excellent communication skills

* Flexibility to carry out various projects simultaneously

* Ability to routinely meet deadlines as required

Duties will include:

* Working as part of a small fabrications team in good working conditions

* MIG & TIG welding bespoke products

* Fabrication, using various metalworking equipment, hand and power tools

* Working with Stainless & Mild steel as required and Aluminium on occasion

* Reading and working from CAD Engineering drawings

Additional Information:

* Working days (7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday) & 7:00am - 1:00pm on Fridays)
