Bluestones Derby are currently recruiting for production operatives to join our client in Newhaven, Derbyshire. This is an exciting opportunity to get a foot in the door at the UK's largest manufacturer of shaped refractories who are recognised as one of the world's leading suppliers of bonded refractories for the glass industry. This is a full time, temp - perm position and offers excellent progression opportunities.

Due to the location of the site a full UK driving licence and transport is essential. The site is easily accessible from Ashbourne, Buxton, Matlock, Belper and Bakewell.

A Forklift licence (Counterbalance) and experience would also be an advantage. Experience is not required for this position as all relevant training will be given.

Daily Duties will include:

* Producing High Quality Refractory Products.

* Quality Control Checks

* Multi Skilling between departments

* FLT Operating

* Manual Handling & Heavy Lifting

Available Shifts:

Permanent Nights - 18:00 - 06:00 Monday - Thursday.

Rotating Shift on a 3 week pattern - 2 weeks on days (Mon - Thurs 06:00 - 16:00) 1 week on nights

Hourly Rate on days starts at £13.93 which increases to £15.42 when fully trained.
